Of course me being the "younger generation" as Sue put it(OK OK, it IS only 4 years younger than Ben but hey, younger is younger) have had e odd dabble with it. I too like that some of my old school mates from boarding school have contacted me through it and it is nice to finally find old friends you have lost touch with. I do however agree with Ben that it is an almost unusable interface and extremely confusing if you want to upload photo's to your face book page for example. And try to work out those privacy settings in a hurry.............whooooaaaa!!!!! But you know what? It is what it is and has been almost since its inception so if you don't like it, don't use it. And BTW, if someone who is a really good mate isn't on FB, couldn't you still use Skype or the good ol' VOIP phone. After all if they're THAT good a friend, you wouldn't be prepared to lose contact just because they're not on FB. Who's ruling who here??? I know I haven't lost touch with my best mate who has moved to Temecula, California, and he is not on FB. In fact we speak several times a week, sometimes for an hour or more, all for....................wait for it............10c Australian. You can't do that on FB!!!!! The key is to use it how you need to. Me, I like to get on my iphone and see what everyone is doing and saying before I crash at night. The key is not to take it all too seriously, and get out of it what you want, or not. i agree with all of you.
